The manufacture of transformer bobbins calls for some precision engineering, to ensure interference fits for a sturdy construction, but there are other applications where an even higher accuracy is required-particularly for coil bracing and supports in large machines and magnets.  These components require CNC machining in up to 5th axis motion to very close tolerance.  The Company has therefore invested capital and resources to be at the forefront in this technology.

Quality Control

The responsibility for quality of the product rests with the supplier and a measure of his acceptance of that duty is shown in his established controls of the environment; the handling of the contract; the controls in manufacture and in care in packaging for dispatch and delivery.

Particularly care is taken to use the correct materials for the application and ensure that the specifications are met in full. Failure of the components we supply can have dire consequences.

To this end, we work to a manual setting out a control system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001.2000.  Each person has the responsibility for the quality of  his / her work and the system demands that, in key tasks, there is some mark to register that responsibility.
