We are a small family company setup in 1972 to meet the perceived demand to fabricate components from Electrical Insulation laminates and have established the business on a firm financial base by providing a prompt and efficient service, in the knowledge that the Insulation components are of vital importance to the end product. Also that these are invariably the first items required in constructing of the product.

To establish a base, it was decided to target the Transformer Manufacture sector of the Industry and thereafter progress into the other areas with the overruling criteria that progression would be within our own available resources.

A range of mechanically interlocked transformer bobbins and Coil Formers was designed, developed and fabricated, for transformer winding. The cutting, drilling, punching, and shaping machine tools were then augmented by tagging machines and a Screen Printing facility for terminal panels, thus providing a single source for all insulation components needed in the manufacture of Transformers. A steady expansion in this area resulted in a reasonably secure base to move into a second area of the market.

The manufacture of mechanically interlocked transformer bobbins calls for some precision engineering - to attain interference fits for rigidity - but there are other applications where an even higher accuracy is required. Together with this and the paramount aims of quality and service, a prime requirement is productivity. This demands investment in the latest techniques and machinery currently available. Resources, both financial and personnel were therefore directed to computer controlled machines.

With these installed and the necessary expertise gained in a wide variety of applications over several years, this Company is at the forefront of the market as indicated by the progress shown in the Moving Annual Turnover curve. The expansion has been almost entirely from personal recommendation in the market.
